most natural and man made disaster occur independently, they could occur
simultaneously. What type of help may be available from the university
community? How could the use of this help usually in the form of
technology, help communities prepare for, respond to, and mitigate the
adverse affects of dual disasters? How might public, nonprofit, and
private organizations be affected by the use of technology in a
multi-hazard disaster? What steps could state and local emergency
management agencies take to minimize the adverse affects of increasingly
using technology in emergency management? |
